I've read the first couple of books on my . What's surprising is how different the original story The Wizard of Oz is in detail from the iconic movie. No flying monkeys (bred, as Lewis Black asserts, in North Korea), no ruby slippers. No dancing Munchkins. A sweet tale, however, flavored by the era in which it was written.
Only problem is that it doesn't have any illustrations. I remember the classic illustrations in the book I had as a kid and I miss them.

Rather enjoyed the 14 books of the collection. Couldn't access the 15th/Bonus Book through the link. All the books are relatively quick reads. And although written with kids in mind, it's not written for youngsters only. I liked that Baum explained why and how he came up with the stories he wrote. It's worth the time and $.99 for the collection.
I would have rated this sooner, but I wanted to wait until I'd read all 15 novellas. They're very old-fashioned children's books, and the quality of the stories is a little uneven, but overall I enjoyed this rather lengthy anthology. As for this edition, it has a TOC that works, and there aren't too many of those annoying scanning errors that often plague older royalty-free books. Well worth the price.
Classic stories at an incredible value! For those who have wanted to read all the OZ books without spending a lot of money, this is a no brainer purchase. I've read many of the stories from my iPhone through the app and it worked great. I also listened to the audiobooks on a road trip and those were nice also. Great purchase!
When I purchased this book it was with the understanding that 14 books worth of OZ needed to be well organized or I would get totally lost and overwhelmed on a Reader.

The only piece a bit confusing was that the book had 2 Tables of Contents. Not hard to navigate but an uncommon practice, I think?
